Rentrax Software introduced a two-level category model (Parent Category and Child category) to organize and manage rental products. Price management and rental activity management are all based on the 2-tier category model in the system.
- PARENT CATEGORY: This can also be called a category; the large groups organize the rental product items.
- CHILD CATEGORY / PRODUCT CATEGORY: This can also be called a subcategory or product category under the parent category.
The two-level category model is used to organize the rental type products and keep the flexibility for management. Rentrax also supports your business store to have a sale and borrow products, besides the rental products.
