Product attributes are defined as the characteristics related to products, such as bike color, size, make, model, etc. These attributes can be selected by renters if the business chooses to collect them during the reservation process, although they are not mandatory. However, once added, these attributes become part of the product’s inventory history.
- Click on the inventory and select attributes.

2. Choose the Products tab.

3. Click on Attributes and enter the product attribute name.

4. Click on the Type dropdown and select from the following options: Text, Date, Date & Time, Number, or Select.
Number: A numeric field, e.g., to add purchase price (the cost at which the product was originally purchased).
Text: A text field appears where staff can enter input. Useful for backend information entry.
Date: A date field, e.g., useful for recording when inventory was added to the fleet.
Date & Time: Records both date and time of product entries.
Select: Allows customers to choose options, e.g., the right size of equipment.

5. Select the checkbox if the attribute should be mandatory.

6. If you need to create additional attributes, use the “+” icon button to add more attributes as needed.

7. Click Save to apply the changes.
