A category is a way of organizing products in a structured hierarchy. A parent category is the main grouping, which can contain one or more child categories. Each child category represents a more specific type within the parent category and holds the actual inventory items. This structure helps in managing, searching, and filtering products efficiently.
- Parent Category – Main classification (e.g., Clothing).
- Child Category – Sub-classification under a parent (e.g., T-Shirts, Jacket, Gloves etc).
